Choral Groups
WE MADE IT! Chamber Singers and Treble Choir both finished the year with small ensemble performances of pieces that they learned entirely on their own, culminating in a class concert. Both groups have an assignment to work on for the summer: to get a head start on learning the Senior District Audition piece, “April is in My Mistress’ Face”, by Thomas Morley, and to learn (or review) their part in the Star Spangled Banner, in preparation for our community performances in the fall AND our performance at the Red Sox on August 23rd!

A Cappella Groups
VOICES OF STEEL: Voices of Steel met throughout the month to start planning music for next year, and performed at the WHRC ProgressPride Flag Raising with our new members. Next up: a well deserved break before August boot camp!
NEW GROUP: We are thrilled to announce a new third a cappella group to add to the program! This group (yet to be named!) will be an intermediate group, leveled between Mic Drop and Voices of Steel. We are excited to be bringing Nadia Collins (WMHS, Class of 2024) on as the director of this new group.
MIC DROP: If any students are interested in joining Mic Drop next year, look for information in the fall and/or contact Ms. Morel!
