America’s top female vocal band, Musae, will perform in Wakefield on Friday, April 10th, at 7:00pm, at the state-of-the-art Galvin Middle School Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
Meet Jessie, Angela, Jo, Lily, and Mel – together they are Musae; America’s top Female Vocal Band. Since 2011, members of Musae have made television appearances on NBC’s The Sing-Off, Pop Network’s Sing It On and ICCA Finals. Musae has headlined some of the most prominent music festivals in the U.S. and abroad. Members have also written, engineered and produced chart topping tracks for artists around the globe. Known for their innovative performances, Musae covers legends from Madonna and ABBA to modern icons like Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga. Get ready for a high-energy show that will have you singing along, and wondering how anyone can make so much sound without a single instrument.

Alongside their world-class performances, they seek to reach out to and educate young artists and performers through their inspiring, industry-leading workshops. Musae will lead an interactive workshop with the seventy Wakefield Public Schools a cappella singers from grades 8-12. They will also learn a song to perform all together at the end of the night!

This event is made possible by support from the Wakefield Educational Foundation. WEF is a community-based nonprofit that raises financial support from various stakeholders, in addition to seeking grants to fund exceptional educational activities that enhance the Wakefield Public Schools activities in teaching and learning. Additional support is provided by the Wakefield Music Boosters, a hard-working and devoted group of volunteers who support the Performing Arts in the Wakefield Public Schools at all grade levels through financial support and hands-on work. The WMHS Choral Department is extremely grateful for their support of this year’s Spring A Cappella Night.
