Choral Ensembles
WRAPPING UP: Happy Last Day of School! This year has been a great one for the WHS Choral Department! A few weeks ago, Chamber Singers, Treble Choir, and Chorale performed their last concert of the year. For their Final Exams, students in Chamber Singers and Treble Choir learned pieces from the Renaissance in small groups. Students in Chorale worked on individually recording their concert repertoire for their Final Exam.
UNIFORMS & MUSIC: Anyone who has not turned in dry-cleaned uniforms has been placed on the obligations list with the Main Office. Students should turn in their uniforms to the Main Office over the summer to be removed from the list.
A Cappella Groups
AUDITIONS: Almost 60 students auditioned for She Major and Voices of Steel 2019-2020. Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned. There are so many wonderful and hard working singers in our department! Anyone who is interested in being part of In Big Treble should email Mrs. Morel or sign-up in the fall (no audition necessary). Students in She Major & Voices of Steel spent the last part of the year planning out their competition sets for next season! They both picked powerful sets of music that you won’t want to miss! We finished out the year with an Aca-Ice Cream party, including a visit from the Cool Cow Ice Cream truck!
